Arnold Thomas Fanning is a writer living in East Cork.
Here in the company of local writer Helen Blackhurst he will read from and discuss his Wellcome Bookprize-shortlisted memoir Mind on Fire, which recounts his experiences of, and recovery from, a decades-long struggle with the effects of living with a diagnosis of bipolar disorder.
There will be readings from the book and time for questions from the audience.

Mind on Fire: A Memoir of Madness and Recovery, was published by Penguin Ireland in 2018 and shortlisted for the Wellcome Book Prize.
