SHE.S

Céline Mermier

Nathalie

Based in Ireland, Céline Mermier is a French photographer whose work explores the intersection of nature, identity, and freedom. After a decade in marketing, she transitioned to photography, driven by a desire for discovery. Named “Photographer of the Year” in Dublin (2024), her style is celebrated as personal, intense, and dreamlike.
In 2026, Céline has expanded her practice to include creative workshops (artis aura), sharing expertise in fine art and conceptual photography. She is currently developing a major exhibition addressing the challenges of pollution, using her lens to highlight environmental fragility.
For the Mountshannon Arts Festival, she presents “SHE.S,” a series weaving a narrative of female empowerment across Irish and French landscapes. The title - a play on “she is,” “she has,” and the French “elles” - explores the collective female presence in public spaces. Her work remains a profound invitation to journey through the strength and quiet power of the natural world.
