Come Fly

After three hands-on workshops in Mountshannon in April and May, dozens of hand-built ceramic birds have taken shape under the guidance of Danielle Martins Thomé of Dama Terra Studio. The flock will be assembled into a large-scale installation and unveiled during the festival at the Picnic Area below the Aistear Park as a celebration of shared creativity, freedom and community spirit. Danielle explains the concept behind the work: “Come Fly is a poetic invitation to travel through dreams, memories and the invisible threads that connect us. Each bird will carry the fingerprints and stories of its maker, and together they’ll rise in a joyful flight.”
