Kevin Bohan / Dagogo Hart / Students of SCC
Words in Flight is a community-based project as part of the Mountshannon Arts Festival 2026 - FLIGHT (30th edition), bringing together mural artist Kevin Bohan and poet Dagogo Hart with local voices. The project began with workshops at Scariff Community College, where students developed texts and ideas with Dagogo Hart. Kevin Bohan introduced his visual approach and developed themes into a large-scale mural.
The mural is created live in Aistear Park during the festival week. The community is invited to observe the process and engage with the artists. A selection of the students’ work will be shown at the Snug Restaurant.

Kevin Bohan is a Dublin-based mural artist and illustrator known for colourful, narrative-driven work in public spaces. His murals appear across Dublin and beyond, often responding to place and community.
