In 2004 whilst working as a sculptor Freya Lawton was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis .

”Suddenly, overnight, I could no longer use my hands to make sculpture, so I moved to making films and text works. These are some of those works. Looking back I see that they were asking questions. Those questions may be even more relevant today than they were back then.”
