Live Music & Spoken Word with Jacinta Sheerin and Steo Wall
Jacinta Sheerin is an actor, writer, drama facilitator and dramatherpist and works in glór Ennis once a month co- facilitating a Creative Circle for anyone in the Clare area who is creative. So if you're creative, please email glór and come along. It's free and fantastic!
Jacinta started out as an actor age 14 when she joined Dublin Youth Theatre. She met her friend and soon to be long time fellow co-creator Georgina McKevitt in DYT around that time and together they began threading boards, writing plays and growing up together.
In 2007, they set up Wicked Angels and wrote and starred in their first written piece Waiting for IKEA which was a box office hit and toured many theatres across Ireland, then on to London and finally New York for the First Irish Theatre Festival. This year, Jacinta & Georgina decided to bring back their characters from Waiting for IKEA to screen. They secured funding from the ACTOR as CREATOR scheme by Screen Ireland and shot their first short film called Taking Liberties, out soon. Keep your eyes peeled.
Steo Wall is a singer from Dublin now living on the west coast of Ireland. Since the release of his debut album in 2018, Steo barged his way onto the Irish music scene and has continued to make waves. He is a man of little words and prefers to let his music do the talking.
