The Forge, Mountshannon

“Hello, and welcome to the forge! My name is Reece Foster and I am the caretaker of the beautiful Lyons forge in Mountshannon. Throughout each day of the festival, I will be doing talks and demos on what life as a blacksmith is like, and showing what is possible with creativity and passion. I hope to see you there!”

The Forge can be found just on the Scariff side of the village from The Aistear Park.

You will also find one of Mountshannon Arts Sculpture Trail pieces there: the Blacksmith, created by the previous caretaker of the forge Mark Wilson.
