Perhaps my best years are gone. When there was a chance of happiness. But I wouldn’t want them back. Not with the fire in me now. No, I wouldn’t want them back.’ Samuel Beckett.

Recent workshops led by poet Ron Carey and artist Margaret Curran explored the idea of creative expression for positive ageing through poetry and visual art.

The project will culminate in a reading by Ron Carey from his new book 'Songs for Older Life', and an audience discussion around the idea that it's never too late to emerge as an artist.
