Commander of the Lough

from €50.00

(Pike)

My recent collection of paintings are inspired by the beautiful East Clare, being beside Lough Derg and surrounded by an abundance of nature. It is not hard!

This painting represents the carnivorous pike well, as he waits deep in the dark depths of the Lough Derg, for his prey to show face and start the fun chase. The rich tones of green represents growth and healing, the sun’s reflection through the water highlights its beautiful markings on its curved body.

Painted with acrylics on a linen canvas

Original: 50 x 50 x 4 cm

Print: 29.7cm x 29.7cm (Image size 23.7cm x 23.7cm)

Print: 42cm x 42cm (Image size 36cm x 36cm)
